Been partying too much lately. We put on a party last night for the international students, everyone had to wear white. It was good as lots of mpeople turned up but apparantly there was a huge fight. I can not remember as I had far too amny shots of sambuca! Ouch. Anyway here are photos for a Jack Wills launch party, awesome night with my flatmate Julia. We did not get back till 5am! And we spent far to much time posing in the toilet!

Now I have forgotten all the lovely things I had to write. I have just been working out at the gym, it really clears my head. I can not believe I never excercised a year ago. It's so good . Anyway I have lots of climbing and party photos that I was going to post but I have somehow lost/got stolen my camera's usb cabel. Well I just brought a new one from amazon for 1p. Bargin! I have run out of food in my house so all I have been eating is eggs and tomatoes and more eggs. urgh. free range of course.

中国新年!

Today is the first day of Chinese New Year. I think the Chinese New Year is much more meaningful than what we celebrate here for the Western New Year. All we do is get drunk for one night then feel awful for the first day of the year. In China you spend time with your family, eat family food, cook together, such as 包饺子。 Also they give each other money, which is a nice gesture for their lives ahead. I wish I was celebrating it in China. I have no one to give 拜年. On Saturday the Chinese students will make fireworks and a party but me and Kate are hitchhiking to Bristol to climb for the day and may return late. It would be nice to make some more Chinese friends, all my friends here seem to be from Hong Kong! Same 'country' I know but they are much more Weesternised.
As it is Chinese New Year what better way to start a new leaf. I decided to not be scared of every little thing, like lead climbing, speaking my opinion in class, meeting new friends, my future plans... I also find I am sometimes very weak and agree with people as not to offend them. I decide now to speak up and if people do not like this well, then never mind. I need to have more confidence in myself, not worry what others think. There is no use going through life delaying your aims, you only live once. It is better to have no regrets. All the risks and adventures I have taken have only led to the most amazing times. I think I need to learn from this. The picture taken below symbolises my new outlook on life!
大家新年好!
